West bay DVI7911 replacement

DVI7911 anemometers were replaced ahead of gas flux measurements in the LEO West bay.

The following were replaced:

  1. 10,-2 (levels 1 and 4 replaced) 4/10
  2. 24,0,1 (Level 1) 4/18
  3. 17,0,4 (level 5) 4/19
  4. Two anemometers were replaced on 10,2 mast, however, need to verify which two were replaced.

West bay SDI12 power supply replaced

West bay SDI12 sensor power supply was replaced on 4/22/2024.

West bay CSAT3 reinstall

CSAT3 S/N 2670 was reinstalled on the LEO West bay on 4/2/2024.

LEO center 5TM MPS2 sensor array offline

LEO center 5TM MPS2 sensor array was found offline from 1/27/2020 1900 hours. The sensor array was brough back online at 2/21/2024 1400 hours.

The power supply to the sensor array had failed and the fuse on the AC power side to it was blown.

Note that it was a 0.5A fuse and was upgraded to a 1.5A fuse. The other bays, West and East will have their fuses similarly upgraded as well as this sensor array continue to require more power as they continue to deteriorate beyond their life expectancy.

CSAT3 redeployment

As we continue to spin up gas flux measurements, CSAT3s will be installed as needed.

Currently, CSAT3 S/N 2678 has been reinstalled in the LEO east bay as of 12/12/2023.

EX81 flow meters zero reset

All three ex81 zeros were reset. This was done between 1-2pm.

We have been seeing non-zero flow rates when there is no flow.

Currently, Center bay seems to be metering less flow with quick initial test with MP2000.

Further evaluation will be done.

Biweekly rain modification due to power fluctuation

On 9/12/2023, the non-experimental biweekly rain was interrupted by multiple power disruptions by the utility power company. We chose to discontinue the rain and resume the remaining rain duration on 9/13/2023.

On 9/12/2023, irrigation of multi one and multi two rain circuits of approximately 3 hours 15 minutes (0830-11.45) was completed. The remaining 3 hours 45 minutes for a net duration of 7 hours was completed on 9/13/2023 0900-1245.

Rain schedule post CRQ experiment

Regular biweekly rain has been changed to use MP2000 and MP3000 which is equivalent to 1.06 cm/hr, from 8.30am to 2.30pm after the CRQ experiment.
Date starting 9/12/2023 (date needs to be confirmed).

NovaLynx calibration

The LEO NovaLynx 260-2501-A 8'' Rain Gauges were calibrated on September 26-28, 2022.

For details on the calibration please see the novalynx_calibration_2022_2.xlsx.

Calibration values were updated on 11:53am 10/3/2022.

LEO center SDI12 subsoil sensor offline

LEO Center SDI12 subsoil sensors when offline after 3/1/2022 at 9pm.

The power supply to these sensors was found to be dead.

It was replaced on 3/14/2022 around 12:40pm.

Since there was no power to the sensors, data at this offline period will not exist.
